What is empathy? Why do empaths always see themselves in positions like caregivers or even easy people? When they are therapists, they are usually attracted to negative and broken people.
They absorb other people’s struggles, fix them, and are generally unaware of a person’s limitations. They can be strongly attracted to narcissistic individuals because they feel it is necessary to fix the narcissist.

However, empaths are always looking for care, love, and understanding. Unfortunately, such a combination will always end in heartache, because offering more attention and love will make the narcissist more controlling and powerful.
