Narcissists are driven by dark desires they suppress. Bound by their manipulative minds, they have thoughts you can’t even imagine.
Only when you unleash those desires will you realize how toxic their minds are. And imagine—then you’ll probably become them!
I’m going to unleash seven dark desires on you…
…I hope you’re ready.
You Won’t Know What’s Really Going On
In the world of narcissists, you’ll never know what’s going on.
Their minds are so filled with toxic traits and unhealthy ways that you’ll only see what they want you to see.

Their dark desires lurk deep within. Cloaked in charm, denial, blame, and projection, you’re unlikely to ever discover what they’re capable of…
…until I came along!
But I Bet You Wish You Did!
Of course, life would be much easier if you could understand a narcissist’s true intentions before you fall for them and find it much more difficult to escape their grip.
That’s precisely why I’m taking this opportunity to identify seven of the darkest desires, and why you should consider them major warning signs.
The 7 Dark Desires of A Narcissist
1: The Desire to Be the Best
There isn’t a single narcissist in the world who doesn’t want to be the best.
Better than you.
Better than everyone else.
Even better than those who try to compete.
This desire for first place is more insidious than you might imagine, because their mission is to outshine everyone—even friends, family, even their own children!
The high status narcissists build for themselves is tied to their own superiority. If they continue to win and succeed, no one else will.
The darkness stems from narcissists’ willingness to surpass anyone to achieve victory and progress.
They don’t care who they hurt in the process.
2 They want everyone to eventually hate you
What kind of demented, psychopathic person wants everyone to eventually hate you?! What level of moral depravity does one need to enjoy watching someone slip into complete isolation, causing mass depression, anxiety, or a loss of identity?
Well… narcissists, actually.
And like all dark desires, you’ll never realize it. You’ll end up a victim. And by the time you fill that void, it’ll be hard to escape.
Think of it this way—if a narcissist can make everyone hate you or avoid you, they’ll be on their own. You’ll have no friends to offer or ask for support.
You’ll have no one to turn to when something’s on your mind. When a narcissist mistreats you (not if…), there’s no one to support you, let alone believe you.
So… when a narcissist tells you how unlovable you are and how you’ll never find someone who wants them again, you’ll believe them too.

It’s hard not to believe when you look around and there’s no one, right?
3 Money, Money, Money
Money is a narcissist’s dark, overwhelming desire. They want everything they can, and once they have it, they won’t hesitate to flaunt it.
Expensive cars. Designer clothes. Expensive hobbies and houses—you name it.
Narcissists see how much money they have when it parallels how successful they are. If they have a lot, it means they’re also incredibly successful.
It’s a driving force for narcissists, because success equates to how proactive and intelligent they are.
For narcissists, without the knowledge, skills, or ability to charm their way into money, they won’t get it.
4 The center of attention? Yes, please!
Narcissists crave attention like plants crave sunlight! Now imagine if plants could talk, and they only talked about themselves…
A narcissist’s inflated ego needs constant validation to feel special, so being the center of attention feeds their unbridled sense of superiority.
You could even consider them emotional black holes:
They absorb compliments, admiration, and any attention showered on them. Without persisting, their self-worth diminishes dramatically.
They are driven by their desire and need for everyone to focus their attention on them—and they won’t stop until they get it.
5 Be Liked by Everyone
Narcissists need everyone to like them. They’re like a toddler who needs applause for eating their vegetables.
Well done, you did it!
Their vulnerability is built on a very fragile foundation of external validation. This means that all it takes is one person not showering them with praise for it to become a full-blown crisis!
Imagine you think you’re Beyoncé, but someone treats you like a backup singer. That would be totally unacceptable, wouldn’t it?
Narcissists constantly seek love to maintain their image. Without universal praise and appreciation, they may begin to question whether they’re truly that great.

Narcissists need enviable jobs. They need to know that what they do for a living will make you jealous and make them look the best.
Or as I like to call it… bragging!
It’s all about bragging rights. For them, an average job doesn’t satisfy them just because they’re convinced they’re destined for greatness. They want to convince you of that, too.
They crave whatever admiration comes with fancy job titles, enviable paychecks, and dedicated corner offices.
But it’s not about the work itself, dammit. It’s about bragging rights.
What’s the coolest job I have?
I’m in this field!
Bloody hell!
If their job doesn’t make others envious, what’s the point? A narcissist who doesn’t have a job to brag about will feel less than worthy.

So weird.
7 The Material World!
Narcissists are like human magpies. If something isn’t shiny, they don’t want to know. Why? Because they can’t brag about it!
For them, it’s not just about owning things. It’s much more serious! It’s about owning things that impress everyone!
The latest designer clothes, a new luxury car, electronics that cost more than a month’s rent—anything that represents a trophy that showcases their “success.”
They brag, and their hidden desire is to keep doing it so that others feel they’re on a completely different level.
